Protecta’s controlling group acquired a minority stake in Sabor Alternativo

Protecta, specialized in the production and export of grains and cereals, acquired a minority stake in Sabor Alternativo, a company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of natural products.

The controlling group of the company Protecta, specialized in the production and export of grains and cereals, acquired a minority stake in Sabor Alternativo, a company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of natural products.

With the transaction, both companies will benefit from commercial and operational synergies as complementary portfolio of products, import of raw materials and access to foreign markets for natural products. In search of greater professionalism to meet a growing demand in the industry, the new company will rely on a board that will be formed by the founding members as well as new members.
