Oppa sells 100% of its shares to Meu Móvel de Madeira

RGS Partners has advised Oppa on the sale of 100% of the company’s shares to Meu Móvel de Madeira. The intention of this deal is to combine operations with two independent brands.

Founded in 2011, Oppa Design is one of the leading e-commerce brands of furniture and home deco in Brazil. The company was controlled by the investment funds Monashees, The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and Valar Ventures, a fund captained by the billionaire Peter Thiel, co-founder of Paypal.

Founded in 2006, Meu Móvel de Madeira is one of the largest e-commerce of solid wood furniture and home deco in Brazil. Currently, Meu Móvel de Madeira is a family-owned business and has presence in Brazil and abroad.
