An Post sold Data Ireland to Autoaddress

Goodbody acted as sole financial adviser to the Irish postal operator, An Post, in relation to the sale of Data Ireland to Autoaddress

Precision Marketing Information Limited, trading as Data Ireland is a leading provider of data centred business solutions in Ireland. It has access to c. 46m proprietary and third party business and consumer data records and serves c. 500 customers on an annual basis.

An Post is the postal operator in Ireland which serves 1.7m customers on a weekly basis through a national network of almost 1,000 post offices. An Post viewed Data Ireland as a non-core business and hence, chose to sell the business to Bizmaps Limited, trading as Autoaddess, a company which offers complimentary services to Data Ireland.
