Sherpa Capital acquires a stake in CityBike from Moventia

ARCANO acted as the sole financial adviser to Moventia on the capital increase of CityBike, suscribed by Sherpa Capital.

Citybike is the micromobility unit of Moventia. Develops and operates public bicycle systems since 2015, when it was granted its first concession in the city of Helsinki, Finland. Currently, it has a total of 4 concessions in 2 countries, Finland and Peru.

The Company has a significant expansion plan both in Europe and Latin America, coinciding with the surge in the use of this type of transport.

Moventia, family-owned company founded in 1923, is a leading player in mobility nationwide.

Sherpa Capital, a private equity fund manager based in Madrid -Spain- will provide the company with resources to execute its explansion plan.
