CRH acquires certain assets from LafargeHolcim

Goodbody acted as a joint adviser to CRH to acquire certain assets following the merger of Lafarge and Holcim.

CRH is Ireland's largest company and the leading global player in building materials. The transaction involved the acquisition of assets (€6.5 billion) which became available following the merger of Lafarge and Holcim. CRH has seen strong profit growth in the years following the transaction, which has brought it ahead of its competitors in the sector.
